We had three murals (including a new HYDR design for the fabulous @rachcreatesdesigns ♥️), a custom birthday banner, lots of shimmer wall, link balloon curtains, lots of clusters with link balloon strands, and even some handmade silver chain! Ole Miss balloons are our FAVE, and we can’t wait to help you decorate for the Egg Bowl in a few weeks🏈

Our second Bid Day installation for @olemisskd is officially in the books, and let me just say that it has been crazy! So crazy that it has taken me two days to be able to post the recap info…..but here it is!

💚Over 6 months of planning
💚11,000+ balloons on the house alone 😳
💚Another 2,400+ balloons at @thelyricoxford
💚900 individual streamers for the ceiling fringe
💚SEVEN amazing team members
💚Over 140 hours of prep work
💚14 hours of installation on the house
💚12 hours of total installation at The Lyric
💚A few hiccups along the way (machinery is NOT my thing)
💚Design pivots in the final hours
💚One epic result that makes me smile every time I see it

Y’all I would be lying if I said this job didn’t give me a few gray hairs in the last couple of months. The checkerboard columns alone were made from 4,800 individually sized balloons and I may have been praying to the very last minute that they would work out, but it all turned out better than I could have imagined! All of the hard work and late nights are really so worth it when you see the excitement of the girls as they walk up to the house!

I’ve said it a million times, but it’s so true….playing even a small role in some of life’s most exciting moments is my favorite part of this job! 💙 This fun gender reveal was held on the 4th of July and the theme was “Red, White, and Due” - how cute is that?!? The client opted for traditional pink and blue balloons with silver starbursts which worked so well with the fun marquee letters from @propittupelo 🎉 Peep the color change lights on the letters too - LOVE that! It was a hot one for sure, but the end result was so worth it! Congrats to the mom and dad to be!

We had a BLAST celebrating her special day, Taylor Swift style🎶 When your mom owns a balloon business and has mom friends with party planning backgrounds, the end result is a bit over the top🤣 We spared no detail when it came to this celebration and it was so fun to plan and execute!

Special shout out to @kateswallace for opening up her home to us and sacrificing her fingers to the hot glue gun for beaded sunglasses, @amytcole712 for loving my girl like her own and spending hours designing patch hats with each girl, @milliemetn for the custom blankets, pillows, and shirts, @justcakeit_662 for the delicious cake that was exactly what the birthday girl envisioned, and @oxfordlawnparty for the perfect yard signs to give her birthday weekend that last special touch😘 (balloon decor, tents, and everything else were DIY by @balloonlaboxford 😛)
